Al Bastini Booking Conditions
1. Payment
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance at least 8 weeks before departure (if the booking is made in the year preceding your holiday the payment schedule is 10%
on booking, 40% on January 1st and 50% at least 8 weeks before your departure).
2. Cancellation
If you cancel all or part of your booking, for whatever reason, or we cancel the booking due to non-payment, then we are entitled to the following percentage of the holiday weeks cancelled:
8 weeks or more before your holiday Deposit paid (or pro-rata percentage thereof for part cancellation)
8 weeks or less before your holiday
100% (or pro-rata percentage thereof for part cancellation)
Wherever possible we will attempt to re-book your holiday and refund any monies paid less additional expenses incurred e.g. additional
advertising costs. If we are unable to re-book your holiday this clause will be rigorously applied.
3. Number of people
Your party must not exceed 10 for Al Bastini.
4. Arrival and Departure Times
Clients are asked to arrive between 5 and 6 pm, when they will be met by the house manager and must leave by 10 am on the day of departure.
5. Deposit for Breakages, Telephone and fax
A deposit of $800 (£500) is payable from which will be deducted the cost of any damage or breakages during your stay and telephone/fax charges if
incurred. This should be paid to the house manager on arrival as travellers cheques or cash. The balance will be returned to you at the end of your holiday.
6. Cleaning and Linen
Cleaning will be carried out prior to your arrival and during your stay.
House linen is provided and changed weekly. If linen has to be changed more regularly we reserve the right to make additional charges. Maid service for 15 hours per week is included in the price.
7. Telephone and fax
These are available for your use. The meters will be read at the beginning and end of your stay, and any charges deducted from your deposit.
8. Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out an insurance travel policy for holiday cancellation, as referred to in clause 2 above; medical cover; and loss of personal goods (e.g. burglary,
fire etc.).
9. Pool heating, House heating, and Air conditioning
Where pool heating, air conditioning and house heating are required these will be charged based on consumption. There are no mark ups on
the prices of the energy supply companies. The pool will be open from the 1st. May to 30th.September and outside of this period subject to agreement and weather conditions.
10.Garden and ground maintenance
The grounds need regular maintenance. All efforts will be made to keep the disturbance to guests to a minimum.
11.Cancellation by us
If for any reason, beyond our control, we have to cancel the client’s booking we will refund the amount paid to us for the property. You will be liable for any
cancellation charges for travel.
12. Animals
No animals can be brought onto the properties.
13. Disputes
Any disputes arising from these conditions will be heard in the courts of Lucca and Italian law will prevail.
